Gig Worker Delivers Pizza to a Coven of Witches

A pizza delivery driver’s routine run to a mysterious Victorian house turned into a nightmare when he unknowingly became part of a witch coven’s binding ritual, cursing him to transform into a frog every full moon.

Got paid, but now he turns into a frog every full moon.

SALEM, OREGON – Local delivery driver Marcus Thompson thought it was just another routine pizza run when he pulled up to the Victorian house on Elm Street last Tuesday night. What he didn’t know was that he was about to become the latest victim of a supernatural transaction that would forever alter his life.

Thompson, 24, had been working for Midnight Munchies Pizza for eight months without incident. But when the GPS led him to 1313 Elm Street at exactly 11:47 PM, he noticed something peculiar about the ornate black house surrounded by dead roses and twisted iron gates.

“The whole place gave me the creeps,” Thompson told this reporter, his voice still shaking from the ordeal. “There were thirteen candles flickering in the windows, and I swear I could hear chanting coming from inside. But I needed the money, you know? Rent was due.”

What Thompson discovered inside that house would make any rational person question the very fabric of reality. According to his sworn testimony, he was greeted at the door by a woman in flowing black robes with silver pentagram jewelry dangling from her neck. She introduced herself only as “High Priestess Morgana” and invited him inside to wait while she gathered payment.

The scene that unfolded before Thompson’s eyes was straight out of a Hollywood horror film, except this was terrifyingly real. Twelve robed figures sat in a perfect circle around a bubbling cauldron, chanting in what sounded like ancient Latin. Crystals and mysterious herbs were scattered across antique wooden tables, and the air was thick with incense that made Thompson’s head spin.

“They were in the middle of some kind of ritual,” Thompson recalled, his hands trembling as he spoke. “The leader, this Morgana woman, she looked at me with these piercing green eyes and said the pizza was exactly what they needed to complete their spell. I should have run right then, but she was already counting out the money.”

The payment itself should have been Thompson’s first red flag. Instead of regular currency, Morgana handed him exactly $23.50 in what appeared to be ancient silver coins, each bearing strange symbols that seemed to shimmer and move in the candlelight.

Dr. Evelyn Blackwood, a professor of occult studies at Miskatonic University and author of “Hidden Covens of the Pacific Northwest,” believes Thompson stumbled into something far more sinister than a simple pizza delivery.

“What Mr. Thompson describes is consistent with a binding ritual,” Dr. Blackwood explained during a telephone interview. “These covens often use unsuspecting delivery workers as conduits for their spells. The exchange of money for goods creates a mystical contract that can have lasting supernatural consequences.”

Those consequences became horrifyingly apparent during the next full moon. Thompson was at home watching television when he felt a strange tingling sensation spreading through his body. Within minutes, his skin began to turn green and slimy, his limbs shortened, and his voice transformed into a series of croaks and ribbits.

“I spent three hours as a complete frog,” Thompson said, still in disbelief. “I could think human thoughts, but I was hopping around my apartment catching flies with my tongue. It was absolutely terrifying.”

The transformation has occurred like clockwork every full moon since that fateful delivery. Thompson has attempted to return the mysterious silver coins, but when he went back to 1313 Elm Street, he found only an empty lot with no trace that a house had ever existed there.

Local authorities have dismissed Thompson’s claims as an elaborate hoax, but several of his neighbors have corroborated seeing a large frog in his apartment window during recent full moons. Thompson has since quit his delivery job and is desperately seeking help from anyone who might know how to break what he believes is a powerful curse.

“I just want my normal life back,” Thompson pleaded. “I never asked to be part of their twisted magic.”
